As noted in the Alvin Kamara report above, Kamara seems to be squarely ahead of Miller on the Saints' depth chart. But Kamara is 31 and hasn't shown many signs of life since 2024, while the 24-year-old Miller is an intriguing young player whose biggest flaw thus far has been an inability to stay healthy.
If Miller is effective against the Falcons in Week 4, there's a chance the Saints will let him handle more of the early-down work and relegate Kamara to passing-down work. Just don't overspend on either of the Saints' backup RBs.
