Mark Scheifele picked up his first goal of the season in the Jets 6-4 loss to the New York Rangers on Thursday night. Scheifele also added 4 SOG, 1 Hit, and a +1 rating in 24:08 of ice time.

Mark Scheifele was up in his usual spot on the Jets top line with Blake Wheeler on his right wing. Scheifele's usage on the top line and first powerplay unit, combined with playing one of the leagues better passers in Blake Wheeler should yield similar point totals to a year ago. Scheifele is once again poised for a strong season.
