Patrik Laine adds three assists in win
by Tyler Feeleus | Canadiens Correspondent | Thu, Oct 10th 12:38pm EDT
Patrik Laine was back on the score-sheet for the fourth consecutive game on Tuesday night when the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-1. Laine had 3 assists while adding 1 SOG, a +2 rating and 1 blocked shot to his stat line in 16:42 of ice time.
Fantasy Impact:
Patrik Laine found himself on the Jets top line with Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele for the second game in a row. Laine seems to be making the most of the opportunity he's been given. If he continues to play at this level and put the effort in that is required to stay on the top line, he should have no trouble making this season a career high in point scoring. The goals will always be there for Laine, this season the assists are pouring in for him thus far and he is playing more physical. If that continues Laine can turn himself into one of the games premiere power forwards.
