Kevin Fiala scored a third-period power-play goal during Minnesota's 5-3 loss to San Jose. He fired three shots on goal during the game but finished with a minus-two rating in 19:11 minutes of ice time.
After scoring an empty-netter for his first goal of the season, It was nice to see Fiala fire home a power-play goal for the second of his season. Many were wondering if he could duplicate his breakout season from last year when he scored 23 goals and 31 assists in just 64 games. Even with scoring only two goals this season in six games, he has been very active firing 23 shots. As long as Fiala keeps shooting the pucks will start finding the net on a more consistent basis.
