Fantasy Impact: This is unfortunate news for the Kings, who are just three points out of a playoff spot, as they lose their second-leading scorer to a gruesome leg injury during the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics. It's also a tough blow for Team Switzerland as they were certainly in the mix for, at least, making it to the quarterfinals. Fiala had 18 goals and 22 assists for 40 points in 56 games with the Kings this season, trailing only Adrian Kempe's 46 points on the roster. Fiala scored at least 60 points in four consecutive seasons and was well on his way to a fifth before the injury.

Fantasy Impact: The 32-year-old Danault, who is in his 12th NHL season, spent five-and-a-half years in Montreal before leaving for Los Angeles as a free agent following the 2020-21 campaign. Signed through the 2026-27 season, Danault has just five assists through 30 games this season. He scored a career-high 27 goals in his first season with the Kings and is coming off of a 43-point campaign a year ago. He has 399 career points, including 125 goals, in 741 career regular-season games. Danault will make his return to the Habs' lineup (most likely on Sunday) as Montreal plays a home-and-home series with Pittsburgh. He should see an uptick in scoring while filling a middle-six role with the Canadiens.
