Frederik Andersen allowed three goals on 22 shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Red Wings.

Andersen has now dropped his past three starts. The Hurricanes are also winless in four of their last five games, so it is not just Andersen struggling. He should continue to split starts with Pyotr Kochetkov down the stretch as the Canes look to keep Andersen fresh for the playoffs. Andersen fell to 19-9-1 with a 2.47 GAA and a .903 GAA. Keep starting him with confidence to close out the season as he is due to snap out of this slump.
