Bryan Rust posted two points for the Penguins Thursday night, scoring one goal and picking up one assist in a 4-2 loss to the Canadiens.

Rust continues a solid stretch in the offensive zone, notching points in five of his last eight games (four goals, four assists) for the Penguins. The veteran winger remains one of the more stable offensive options for first-year head coach Dan Muse as part of an inconsistent Pittsburgh lineup, recording 23 points (nine goals, 14 assists) in 27 games so far this season.
