Kasperi Kapanen recorded a hat-trick in the Penguins' 6-2 win over the Blues Saturday night.

Fantasy Impact: Kapanen has somehow found out where the offensive zone is, picking up five points (four goals, one assist) in his last two games after being held without a point in his previous nine. The 26-year-old has always flashed the ability to finish but has yet to do so on a consistent basis early in his career. Kapanen has posted just 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 16 games so far this season.

Fantasy Impact: Archibald has picked points in just four of his last 11 games for the Penguins, posting a 0.45 point per game (three goals, two assists) in that span as more of a defensive specialist as part of head coach Mike Sullivan's forward group. The 30-year-old can be left off rosters for the time being, posting just six points (four goals, two assists) in 20 games so far this season.

Teddy Blueger tallied three assists in the Penguins' 4-1 win over the Flyers.

Fantasy Impact: Blueger has now recorded points in two of six games since making his season debut November 15, picking up four assists in that span. The 28-year-old is more of a defensive forward as part of Pittsburgh's bottom six that should not be rostered unless the Penguins are somehow ravaged by injuries at some point.

Ryan Poehling scored two goals in the Penguins' 4-1 win over the Flyers.

Fantasy Impact: Poehling has now posted points in three of his last five games for the Penguins, scoring three goals and adding one assist in that span. The 23-year-old is very fantasy relevant as part of Pittsburgh's bottom six, scoring four goals and adding three assists for just seven points in 21 games so far this season.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sam Poulin recorded an assist in his NHL debut Tuesday versus the Calgary Flames.

Fantasy Impact: Despite the Penguins taking a 4-1 loss, it was surely a night to remember for Poulin. The 2019 first-round pick has just one goal in four games with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season and tallied 37 AHL points across 72 games last season. Despite the memorable night, he remains far off the fantasy radar.

Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Marcus Pettersson recorded an assist in Thursday's win over the Los Angeles Kings.

Fantasy Impact: Pettersson's first-period assist helped stake the Pens to a 3-0 lead in an eventual 6-1 beatdown of the visiting Kings. He also recorded four blocks, a hit, and a plus-two rating on the night. He has three points in four games this season -- all assists -- but is known for his defense with just 19 points across 72 games a season ago.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Danton Heinen recorded an assist in Thursday's win over the Los Angeles Kings.

Fantasy Impact: Heinen was one of 13 Penguins to reach the scoresheet Thursday as he assisted on Jeff Petry's second-period goal. The 27-year-old has shown glimpses of fantasy relevance in the past but still managed just 33 points in 76 games last season. He's off to a fine start this season, however, with four points in as many games.
