Webb Simpson finishes T8 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic

Webb Simpson continued his strong play this past week at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Simpson got off to a very hot start in Detroit, shooting rounds of 68 and 64 to begin his week. He couldn’t get much going on the weekend however, as he only went three-under to finish the tournament. Simpson finished at 15-under par and fell into a four-way tie for eighth place.
Fantasy Impact:
The 34-year-old already has two wins in 2020, and four top-10s in just eight events. He has elevated his game to another level over the past few seasons and is now a threat every week he tees off. Simpson is currently fourth in strokes gained: approach, and 15th in strokes gained: putting.
