Rory McIlroy draws eighth-place finish at 2022 PGA Championship

Rory McIlroy carded rounds of 65-71-74-68 to finish with a final score of two-under-par en route to an eighth-place finish during the 2022 PGA Championship.
Fantasy Impact:
McIlroy started the 104th PGA Championship on top of the leaderboard at five-under-par, but a brutal two-day stretch from Friday to early Sunday put the Irishman behind the curve. Nevertheless, he managed to recover some damage from his middle rounds on Sunday and possesses some of the best chipping around the green metrics on the entire PGA Tour. This season, McIlroy has a win under his belt and is currently ranked 14th in the FedExCup and 8th in OWGR.
