Hanley Ramirez (shoulder) is considered day-to-day and will be monitored over the next couple of days before the Red Sox consider placing him on the DL, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports. (Rob Bradford on Twitter)

This shoulder has been surgically repaired twice in his career so the Red Sox are going to use caution with their star player.
