Max Scherzer (shoulder) has been added to the Rangers' ALCS roster. (Texas Rangers on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Scherzer has been making his way back from a strain in his teres major muscle. He had a shot to join the ALDS roster, but the Rangers opted to hold him out and will now activate him. He most recently completed a 60-pitch simulated game last week, so he may not be ready for a full workload. Still, the Rangers will be happy to get their big trade deadline acquisition on the mound vs the Astros.
