Adam Ottavino declines 2024 option

RP Adam Ottavino declined his $6.75 million player option with the Mets and will now be a free agent. (Joel Sherman on Twitter )

Ottavino finished the 2023 season with a 3.21 ERA and 62 strikeouts over 61 2/3 innings pitched. The 37-year-old would be a solid addition to any team looking for middle relief help and in need of depth to bolster their bullpen.
