Chris Davis' nine game hit streak snapped

by Jack Keenan | Fri, Aug 14th 1:30am EDT

The Orioles' 3-0 no hit loss to the Mariners Wednesday night snapped many streaks including Chris Davis' nine game run. Davis managed to get on base with a walk but finished the night 0 for 2 with a walk and a strikeout. He is now batting .253 on the year but is still streaking the past week with a .350 average. Davis is the one guy carrying the offense and fantasy owners should continue to trust him with confidence.

Fantasy Impact:

Davis is in the top three of the American League with 31 home runs (3rd) and 83 RBIs (2nd). Davis is the main power option in this lineup so look at Wednesday as an anomaly and not a trend. Davis is a strong boom or bust DFS start because of his power and a must own player in fantasy leagues.
