Adam Eaton and the White Sox agreed to a 5 year/ $23.5 million contract extension on Friday. The deal will keep Eaton on the White Sox through 2019. The White Sox will also have club options in 2020 and 2021 (Source: ESPN)

Adam Eaton hit .330 with an .840 OPS in his final 80 games last season. Also during that stretch, Eaton had 23 extra-base hits. This is hopefully a sign that he is starting to recover from his 2013 elbow injury. (Source: CBS Sports)
