The Yankees have signed RHP Duane Underwood Jr. to a minor league contract.

Underwood will join the Yankees after posting a 5.18 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and 14 strikeouts in 24 1/3 innings with Pittsburgh last season. The veteran has appeared in 144 career games since 2018 and will provide the Yankees with a depth option in their minor league system.
