Fantasy Impact: Finally, Pence owners can start making roster moves. He hasn't played in nearly two weeks. The injury is concerning as it is a lingering issue from his fracture. Justin Maxwell should see increased playing time in Pence's absence, and he has played decently in June, already popping two home runs in 21 plate appearances. Maxwell may present an inexpensive DFS play in the short term.

Fantasy Impact: If the Giants place him on the DL, it can be retroactive and make him eligible to return in a week. Pence is perennially a set-and-forget outfielder due to his steady production and the fact that he rarely took a day off. If he gets put on the DL, look for Justin Maxwell to get steady playing time for DFS purposes.

Fantasy Impact: When healthy, Pence is an absolute prize to have on your fantasy team. As the heart and soul of the Giants, Pence raked in 13 RBI in just 17 games. Along with 2 home runs, Pence showed his value in his brief return. As soon as the injury is fully healed, Pence is a must-start in fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Impact: Pence has been one of the better all-around outfielders since he has arrived in San Francisco, as well as one of the most durable. The wrist injury is an issue as it is a re-aggravation of his pre-season break. Monitor his situation closely.

Fantasy Impact: Hunter Pence suffered a bone bruise to his formerly broken wrist on a diving catch Tuesday. He sat out Wednesday, was the center of attention when the Giants visited the White House and sat out again Friday. This is worrisome but Pence is one of baseball's most durable players. So far this season, Pence has picked up where he left off in 2014, slashing .282/.329/.451 so far. The wrist may be a problem now, but his hitting shows it hasn't bothered him before he re-aggravated it.

Hunter Pence had a great night at the plate as he went 3-for-5 with two singles and one double. Unfortunately, he was unable to knock in any runs, but he was able to score one run.

Fantasy Impact: This three hit performance bumped Pence's batting average up to .282 from .258. Pence has only played about half a month, and while his hitting has been slightly erratic of late, his production overall has been quite impressive. He is still a solid option across all formats.

Hunter Pence was able to reach base three times as he went 1-for-3 with one single, one walk, and reaching first on a throwing error in the first inning. He managed to knock one run in when he grounded out in the bottom of the eighth inning with Norichika Aoki on third base.

Fantasy Impact: Pence's batting average has really taken a beating this past week, down to .258 from .326. When he is at his best, he is an on-base machine, whether it be through hitting or taking walks, and then causing havoc on the base paths once he is on. Expect Pence to pick up his game and rack up some more RBI since he is hitting in the three-hole.

Hunter Pence went 1-for-4 with a big triple (his first of the year) into the right-center field gap against the Braves. His triple knocked in two runs and he was later able to make it home and score as well.

Fantasy Impact: Hunter Pence has begun to slow down a little bit since his hot start to the season with his batting average dipping below the .300 mark. He is still a great option across all formats due to his ability to drive in runs, he already has recorded 12 RBI in just half a month.

Coming off a hitless performance in the series finale against Colorado, Pence went 3-for-4 with two singles, one double, one walk, and one stolen base. He knocked in two runs and scored one run himself.

Fantasy Impact: Pence has been extremely productive since returning from injury. He has only failed to reach base in three games so far, and he has a tendency to collect hits in bunches. He is surely worth the wait for those that kept him rostered in league play and he has already proven to be a force in daily games.

Hunter Pence continued to build on his hot start to his season with a 2-for-5 effort against the Rockies. He hit two singles, knocked in two runs, and also scored two runs himself.

Fantasy Impact: Hunter Pence is proving to be worth the wait for everyone who drafted him. He is also proving to be a force in daily games, recording multiple hits and RBI thanks to manager Bruce Bochy batting him in the middle of the lineup. Unfortunately, his price will most likely rise very soon, so take advantage while you can.

Hunter Pence snapped his two game hitless streak as he went 2-for-4 at the plate with two singles. Each single was good for one run, but he also struck out twice.

Fantasy Impact: Pence has had a pretty nice start to his injury shortened season, sporting a .300 batting average with a .333 OBP and four RBI, but he has struck out a lot. He has fanned seven times in five games, so if he could cut that number down then his OBP would likely rise and he would be a slightly safer bet for fantasy owners.

Fantasy Impact: Pence is a valuable asset to the success of the Giants. Now that he is healthy, look to add him to your team to increase the value of your outfield. Pence is a strong hitter, and this team plays better when he is in the lineup.

Hunter Pence made his first start of the season after fracturing his arm in Spring Training.

Fantasy Impact: Pence went 2-for-3 with a double and 3 runs scored. This was his first action after being hit by a pitch in the third game of Spring Training. He looked great out there and he's a set-and-forget option for you at outfield in all formats.

Fantasy Impact: Pence was assigned to play with the Giants' AAA team, the Rivercats, in his recovery process. Pence registered his first hit since his injury, knocking the ball into left field for a single. This is a positive sign for Pence and the Giants, as he is a valuable member of this championship team. Look for Pence to return to the Giants' major league squad in a few weeks.

Fantasy Impact: Pence has been one of the most reliable and consistent performers in the league since he's arrived in San Francisco. He has no ETA right now since the injury robbed him of Spring Training. Pence is a top-twenty outfielder when healthy, and he is the exact opposite of injury prone. With the massive amounts of injuries to start the season, there is a slim chance he's been dropped in your league. Check the wire just in case and rectify the situation if he's available.

Hunter Pence is hoping to return to the Giants lineup sooner than later. The outfielder is currently recovering from a broken forearm, the aftermath of a wild pitch during Spring Training. Fantasy Impact: Pence, when fully healthy, is an effective fantasy player. If you can grab him and keep him in your DL spot, it will be worth it. Pence has a career average 23.1 home runs per season, and a career batting average of .284. The Giants tend to rally around Pence when he is in the lineup, and can play strong in hopes of another playoff berth upon his return.

Updating a previous report, Hunter Pence will miss 6-8 weeks after suffering a forearm fracture. (Source: San Francisco Giants on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Now that it is official and he has a time-table, adjust your draft boards accordingly. Pence will likely miss all of April and his replacement, Gregor Blanco, could be a solid play in fantasy leagues for the first month of the season.

Hunter Pence was struck in the hand by a pitch on Thursday and had to leave the game. He underwent X-rays and the team seems pessimistic about his status. There are some rumblings that his hand might be fractured. (Source: Henry Schulman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: If Pence's hand is fractured it will be a big blow to the Giants and fantasy owners. Pence batted .277 with 20 home runs, 74 RBI, 106 R, and 13 SB last season. It has been that kind of all-around production that has made Pence into being one of the best outfielders in fantasy. Keep an eye out for any updates regarding his status and adjust your draft board accordingly.
