Davies has been much better than throughout most of his nine-year career, recording 60 wins and a 4.36 ERA over 200 starts.

Zach Davies had a rough outing on Tuesday against the White Sox, lasting just three innings and allowing four earned runs on eight hits and one walk.

With this performance, Davies' season ERA rose to 7.00, and his WHIP increased to 1.66. Despite a decent strikeout rate of 7.9 K/9, his overall fantasy value takes a hit due to his struggles with run prevention. Fantasy managers may want to consider benching Davies until he shows signs of improvement.

Although his lone damage allowed was on a Jeff McNeil three-run homer, Davies' season-long numbers still trended in the wring direction.
