It's easy to see that Mike Tomlin loves Blount. During an 11-on-11 period, Blount plowed his way forward for about 4 yards, dragging defenders with him. “Way to punch a hole in it 27. That's the way to punch a hole in it, big back. I'll take that,†Tomlin said. (Pitt Trib Review)
Fantasy Impact:
Bell will no doubt be the RB1 on the Steelers. Blount will get all short yardage and goal line looks. Another back who gained notoriety doing this was Jerome "Bus" Bettis. Can Blount be used the same way and have the same success? With an RB ADP of 45 and an overall ADP of 138 per FantasyPros web site, early expectations are hopeful.
