Gronkowski unlikely to see any preseason action

The Boston Globe reported that while Gronk has been practicing in full pads, he has only been participating in non-contact drills. The TE has been sitting out 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 work. They added that it would "be a surprise" if Gronkowski got any preseason snaps in. (Boston Globe)
Fantasy Impact:
The Patriots want to make sure Gronkowski is healthy for the long run and continue to ease him back into football. Gronk has stayed the course with his return from ACL surgery, and all signs point to him being ready for the season opener.
