Bernard Pierce had a brief but impressive performance in Saturday's preseason tilt, carrying the ball 7 times for 55 yards, including a 30 yard scamper.
Fantasy Impact:
Reports out of Baltimore camp is that Pierce is a better fit for Gary Kubiak's one-cut running offense than Ray Rice. He'll get the opportunity to validate those reports as he carries the load during the first two games of the season. His performance Saturday only adds to the enthusiasm that it might be Pierce's time.
