Uninterrupted is reporting New England Patriots wide receiver Andrew Hawkins has announced his retirement from the NFL. (Uninterrupted on Twitter)

Despite signing with the Patriots via free agency this offseason, Hawkins, formerly of the Browns, is retiring from the NFL. While playing six years in the league with the Bengals (2011-2013) and Browns (2014-2016), Hawkins accumulated 209 receptions for 2,419 yards receiving and nine touchdowns.
