Lamar Miller notches second career rushing game in loss

by Jeffrey Lee Colavecchio | Sun, Sep 21st 9:16pm EDT

Miller, getting extended action in the absence of Knowshon Moreno, finished with a career-high 108 yards. “It’s a good feeling, but I’ve still got a lot of room for improvement,” Miller said of his second career 100-yard rushing performance. “I give the credit to the offensive line. They’ve been doing a great job throughout this whole season so far.” (MiamiDolphins.com)

Fantasy Impact:

When Miller can break through the first line of defenders, he uses his speed to run to daylight. This was on full display Sunday afternoon as he broke a couple of big runs on the Chiefs. Miller was also trusted on most passing downs and secured all the passes that came his way. He will continue to see about fifteen carries per game and a couple of catches with Moreno on the sideline. The offensive line looks improved in the run game, and Mike Pouncey's return is imminent. Number 26 proved he can be trusted as an RB2 when he gets enough touches.
