Reed limited in practice on Friday

by Jonathan Ebanks | Fri, Oct 3rd 7:12pm EDT

Redskins' TE Jordan Reed was limited in practice on Friday due to the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 1 against Houston. Gruden said of Reed, "We just have got to wait and see how he feels tomorrow moving forward. It’s hard for him when he’s not getting a lot of team reps. He’s getting some but not very many. We’ll have to wait and see how he does tomorrow to make that final decision, and if we feel like he’s ready -- not only physically but mentally, that he’s got everything down…” If Reed is inactive, TE Niles Paul would replace him. Fantasy Impact:

The Redskins should decide Reed's availability after Saturday's practice. He seems like a 50/50 shot right now ... perhaps 51/49. However, the team seems to be less optimistic than they were yesterday about his chances to play on Monday. Even if Reed plays, he still wouldn't be an advised start against the tough Seattle defense, especially when not fully healthy, and with Paul poised to steal some targets. Try to find another option at TE and avoid the Redskins' TEs this week if you can.
