Dismal day for Philip Rivers and the Charger offense

by Steven Miller | Mon, Nov 3rd 12:12am EST

QB Philip Rivers had a rotten day in Miami facing a tough Dolphin defense. Before leaving with a mild hand injury late in the game, Rivers had completed only 12 of 23 passes for 138 yards and no touchdowns. Rivers had 3 interceptions and 1 fumble loss in the shutout loss. (www.nfl.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Fantasy owners relying on Rivers during Week 9 were majorly disappointed scoring negative points in many formats. The hand injury is no cause for concern. Coach McCoy pulled Rivers at the time of the injury since the game was out of hand. Rivers should be good to go in Week 12 after the upcoming bye week.
