TE Ladarius Green had 2 catches for 34 yards off of 3 targets in Sunday's exciting victory over the visiting Rams.
Fantasy Impact:
Although the performance was rather mediocre, this is the first time all season Green had more targets and yardage than Gates (3 to 2; 34 yards to 14 yards). Gates' fast start at the beginning of the season allowed the offense to minimize the use of Green. Now that Gates has slowed down considerably, It will be interesting to see the production of Green over the next several weeks in comparison to Gates, but it is not warranted to pick him up over the fantasy wire at this time.
