Elvis Dumervil announces retirement from the NFL

Former Broncos, Ravens, and 49ers linebacker Elvis Dumervil announced he was retiring from the NFL after 12 seasons. The five-time Pro Bowler ends his stellar career with 105.5 sacks, including a league-leading 17 in 2009. (Pro Football Talk)

Dumervil's sack totals currently rank 26th in NFL history. In addition to five Pro Bowls, the 2006 fourth-rounder made two All-Pro squads and finishes with 365 tackles, 23 forced fumbles, and 13 recoveries.
