Tyrone Crawford weighs only 270-pounds; is not concerned

The original plan for Tyrone Crawford was to continue to play defensive end in 2018. However, the impressive play of Randy Gregory and lack of depth at defensive tackle forced the Cowboys to move Crawford inside. The only problem is, Crawford shed 15 pounds from his 2017 playing weight to better prepare himself to play defensive end. (SportsDay )

Fantasy Impact:

Crawford spent a lot of time at defensive tackle early in his career, but has played more on the end the last couple seasons. While he acknowledges playing defensive tackle at 270-pounds is not ideal, he’s not too concerned. “You don't really want to be playing this at 270, but it is what it is,” Crawford said. “The difference about me being this weight and playing in there now is my shoulders are back. I feel good. I feel strong. I wasn't even benching 225 before. Now I'm back up to my max again. I feel good about this part of my game." Crawford will continue to be a key member of the Dallas defense.
