Ryan Clark is expected to retire after this season

The Redskins and S Ryan Clark himself expect that Clark will be retiring after this season. Clark recently said, "For me, there's no next year." He elaborated on that, "I didn't think I was going to play this long, so I'm definitely not thinking I'm going to play next year." (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
A 35-year old safety, who plays in a league where younger and faster is all that coaches and general managers desire, knows when it's time to hang up the cleats and move on. Clark was never a big playmaker or an athletic freak, but was always commended for his locker-room leadership, toughness, and his great pre-snap communication. Clark probably has a nice ESPN NFL analyst job waiting for him upon his retirement. We wish him the best of luck on whatever he chooses to do after football.
