Robert Griffin III

Jay Gruden will return as the Redskins' head coach in 2015

Redskins' head coach Jay Gruden has been told that he will remain the team's head coach going into next year. However, it wasn't Daniel Snyder or GM Bruce Allen who relayed that information to him. Gruden is currently in the first year of a five-year deal. (Sports Illustrated)

Fantasy Impact:

Considering that the ownership is on Griffin's side, while the coaching staff is against Griffin, we can expect this coach-QB melodrama to continue throughout next season if QB Robert Griffin III doesn't get traded. Griffin's performances in Weeks 16 and 17 will likely determine his fate with the team. Either way, Gruden's horrible relationship with Griffin doesn't bode well for Griffin's chances to succeed in Washington with Gruden as the head coach. The QB-coach relationship is arguably the most important one on the team, so the sad state of affairs in Washington between both parties reflects poorly on how well the organization is run.
