Demaryius Thomas has five receptions for 59 yards and a TD in loss to Colts

Demaryius Thomas caught only five of his 12 targets and had a couple of bad drops in Denver's loss to Indianapolis on Sunday in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Fantasy Impact:

An injured, ineffective Peyton Manning on Sunday was not the only one to blame for Demaryius's mediocre fantasy day. Thomas did not play well either. A TD on the first drive saved his value for fantasy owners. Thomas ended the year with 111 catches for 1,619 yards and 11 touchdowns. This season, Thomas led the league in targets with 184 and was behind only Antonio Brown in both catches and receiving yards. Demaryius Thomas's rookie contract is up, but it would be surprising if the Broncos do not sign their star WR to a large contract in the off-season (although they may resort to franchise tagging him). Thomas will be a top WR again next year; however, his value will vary greatly depending on if Peyton is back. His value could also fluctuate depending on who the Broncos' next head coach will be.
