Lines of communication non-existant with Cowboys and DeMarco Murray

by Chris Zolli | Tue, Mar 10th 9:15am EDT

Between a lack of communication between the teams and DeMarco Murray removing all references to the Cowboys from his social media accounts, the NFL's leading rusher may be changing teams. Free agency opens today at 4PM and Murray is seen as one of the prizes of free agency. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

The Cowboys have re-signed Doug Free, but will potentially lose Jeremy Parnell, so the offensive line that fueled Murray's historic season will mostly be in place for whomever is running behind it. One of the Cowboys' targets, Mark Ingram, re-signed with the New Orleans Saints, but the team will continue their due diligence with Adrian Peterson. The price may not be that steep, only a fourth round pick, so the Cowboys may be willing to get an elite player at that relatively low price. Even though sources said last week that Murray will re-sign in Dallas, these are not good signs, especially considering the rapid pace of the early days of NFL free agency. The Cowboys' structure is nearly certain to produce a top-ten RB, but Murray was the top RB in 2014 and has future top-five potential for the next three to five years.
