Justin Smith announces retirement

Justin Smith will retire after 14 seasons in the NFL. He is a five-time Pro-Bowler and one of the main defenders in the 49ers' defense. (49ers on Twitter)

The 49ers defense keeps taking hit after hit this off-season. The 49ers will be young in almost every position, look for Tank Carradine to hopefully step up this year and fill the gigantic void that the Cowboy leaves.
