Fantasy Impact:

Smith, a six-time Pro Bowl player for the Vikings, was set to have a cap hit of $19 million in 2023, and the Vikings had an out if they couldn't agree on a restructure. Smith tied his career high of five interceptions in 2022 and had 10 passes defended with 85 tackles in 14 games. Smith provides veteran leadership and strong play at the safety position, necessary for a defense that struggled in 2022.
