Austin Pettis not a lock for Chargers 53-man roster

Eric Wiliams of ESPN doesn't expect Austin Pettis to crack the Chargers 53-man roster. After being drafted in the third round in 2011 by the Rams, Pettis has simply failed to produce on the field. He will likely battle Javontee Herndon and undrafted rookie Tyrell Williams for the sixth receiver spot. At this point he appears to be on the outside looking in. (ESPN)
