Jets place Dee Milliner on short-term IR

by Tom Woods | Sun, Sep 6th 2:53pm EDT

Former first-round cornerback Dee Milliner will miss at least the first eight weeks of the new NFL season after the New York Jets placed him on short-term injured reserve. The player underwent wrist surgery this preseason - the latest in a long line. The team was awarded ex-Seattle safety Ronald Martin from waivers in Milliner's place. (Gang Green Nation)

Fantasy Impact:

Milliner already had the task to even make the cut, let alone start for the Jets. But this injury does set him back even further. Due to his injury proneness, he is unlikely to see the field much in 2015, and so isn't really a fantasy prospect at any level.
