Arian Foster amasses 28 touches as Texans fall

by Mike Werner | Fri, Oct 9th 2:27am EDT

Arian Foster ran for 41 yards on 19 carries, and secured 9-of-10 targets for an additional 77 yards in his second game of the 2015 season.

Fantasy Impact:

Foster and fantasy owners suffered a bit of a scare in the second quarter when he took a big hit and was evaluated for a concussion. He ended up coming back to the game and continued getting the majority of the work. Foster looked good, but not great tonight. His vision and decisiveness were on point, but he lacked some burst and acceleration to the hole, and didn't break away from defenders like his normal vintage self. His 28 touches were by far the most of any Houston running back, and he'll surely continue to have that workload in the future. Look for Foster to provide even more production and look even better after 10 days of rest when the Texans travel to Jacksonville and face off against their mediocre run defense in Week 6.
