Safety Ron Parker has been resigned by Kansas City after being released by Atlanta Falcons recently.

Ron Parker had eight tackles for the Chiefs in a toss loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Parker has filled in for Eric Berry as well as anyone could ask. He doubled the total tackles of anyone other player for the Chiefs against Arizona, and should see much easier sledding next week against the Raiders below average offense.

With Eric Berry set to miss the rest of the season getting healthy, Ron Parker has been moved into the starting role at strong safety for the Chiefs.

While it would prove nearly impossible to replace a player of Berry's stature in the secondary, Parker is not a bad option. He is currently 2nd on the team in tackles, and forced two turnovers on the year thus far.
