Will Hill likes to hit people

Baltimore Ravens strong safety Will Hill is looking forward to the 2015 season. He wants to hit people. Hill signed his $1.542 million tender offer earlier this year. He recorded 42 tackles in eight games last season.

Fantasy Impact

Hill has noticeably added some upper body muscle to his 6'1" frame. It seems as though the offseason workouts are paying off. Hill will be competing for a starting spot against the former first rounder Matt Elam. Elam had a disappointing 2014 season and was the lowest-graded player on the Ravens defense, per PFF. Although Hill had some previous offseason issues, he appears to be on the straight-and-narrow now. He will probably get the starting spot. I would start Hill before Elam or Brynden Trawick.

Ravens FS Will Hill has active warrant for failure to pay child support

Baltimore Ravens safety Will Hill has an active warrant issued by the New Jersey authorities for failure to pay child support. The warrant was actually issued in March 2014. He was cut by the New York Giants last summer after his third suspension for violating the NFL's drug policy. The Ravens picked him up in July 2014 on a one-year $570,000 contract. According to John Harbaugh, "he has a lot of talent."

Fantasy Impact

Hill is a talented safety that can't seem to stay out of trouble. He has a season ending 42 tackles and one interception. That memorable interception was when he covered New Orleans Saints Jimmy Graham in Week 12 that resulted in a 44-yard touchdown. This 24-year safety out of the University of Florida has a lot of talent but not much common sense. He is a restricted free agent so the Ravens can retain him with a tender offer but it is too soon to tell how this latest off-the-field issue will affect his career.
