Point Guards

Kyle Lowry (TOR): $8,600 vs. MIN
Lowry has been excellent this season averaging over 20 points per game for the second time in his career. Over his previous five games, Lowry has at least 37.3 fantasy points in every game while averaging around eight assists. A favorable matchup against the Timberwolves makes Lowry a very solid play.

I’m torn here between John Wall and Kyle Lowry. However, with Lowry’s price tag being $1,200 less than Wall, I’m leaning towards Lowry with the remaining money going towards other players.

Patty Mills (SA): $4,300 at CHI
Mills is coming off a solid performance against the Timberwolves with 15 points, five assists, four boards and two steals. A bonus is the fact that Tony Parker will miss this game. Even though Mills won’t start, Mills is one of the better low-priced daily plays on Thursday.

Also Consider:

  • John Wall (WSH) : $9,800
  • Andrew Harrison (MEM): $4,200

Shooting Guards

Bradley Beal (WSH): $6,800 vs. DEN
In what’s projected to be the highest-scoring game of the night, Beal is in a prime spot for a break-out game, especially against the Nuggets. The Nuggets allow the most points to opposing shooting guards making Beal the play of the night. For example, the Nuggets allowed Nets’ SGs Joe Harris (16), Sean Kilpatrick (22) and Bojan Bodganovic (19) to score in double-figures on Wednesday.

Klay Thompson (GS): $6,800 at UTA
Thompson and Bradley Beal are two players to get into your lineups while they’re hot. Thompson is two games off his career-best 60-point performance and followed up with a 24-point performance on Wednesday against the Clippers. PLAY YOUR STUDS! To help his cause, the Jazz are short-handed. (See Joe Johnson below)

Also Consider:

Small Forwards

Joe Johnson (UTA): $3,600 vs. GS
Johnson leads the way as one the strongest value plays of the night at his current price tag. Johnson will likely start at small forward and be the go-to-guy on offense with Rodney Hood (hamstring), George Hill (toe), Gordon Hayward (finger) and Derrick Favors (knee) all out.

Wilson Chandler (DEN): $6,200 at WSH
Who has been better than Chandler lately?! In Chandler’s previous 12 games, he has seven games of 20-plus points while recording four double-doubles. On Wednesday, Chandler went off against the Nets with 27 points and 15 boards in 35 minutes of action.

Also Consider:

Power Forwards

Anthony Davis (NO): $12,100 vs. PHI
Davis is currently second in the NBA in most fantasy points in FanDuel this season only behind Russell Westbrook. Davis also missed one game and left a few others due to injury. Yes, I know Davis’ price tag is the highest on Thursday by $2,100 with Kevin Durant as the next highest. However, Davis is also projected for the most points by about seven ahead of John Wall.

Nikola Jokic (DEN): $5,100 vs. WSH
Jokic returned to action after missing the previous three games due to injury and picked up right where he left off. Jokic recorded a double-double (14 points and 11 boards) against the Nets. Jokic did this in only 21 minutes of action! Jokic has already been ruled a go for Thursday’s game so get him in your lineups.

Also Consider:

Center

Marcin Gortat (WSH): $6,300 vs. DEN
On paper, it’s a tough matchup for Gortat as the Nuggets have a strong frontcourt with Kenneth Faried and Nikola Jokic. However, Gortat is always a solid play due to his consistency. Gortat has 12 double-doubles in 20 games this season. He’s a solid bet for double-double on a nightly basis.

Also Consider:

  • Robin Lopez (CHI): $5,200
  • Karl Anthony-Towns (MIN): $9,200
