Week 14 Fantasy Baseball Rankings

Although fantasy baseball is a slow game, everything changes from week to week depending on injuries, ballparks, matchups and playing time trends. Even more so, Coors and two-start pitchers throw the rankings for a loop. I’ve factored all that in as I built my Week 14 rankings for your fantasy teams, so let’s dive into it.

Coors Field Watch

After a week away from home, the Rockies will be returning to Coors for a three-game series at San Francisco before getting back on the road and finishing out the week in Seattle. Rockies hitters won’t receive any kind of bump or penalty this week, but you can bet the Giants’ offense will rise up the list quite a bit. Pitchers on both sides, of course, will be dependant on when they pitch.

Two-Start Risers

This week there are another 35 pitchers who draw two starts. As always, there are a handful who are never worthy of using in fantasy, nine to be exact last week. There are 9 that you can stream for one start including Jake Odorizzi against the dreadful Orioles lineup, Kyle Freeland on the road and Wade LeBlanc at home against the Rockies. Beyond all of those options, there are 8 pitchers that you ought to start regardless of the matchup and ballpark. That list now includes Jack Flaherty, Sean Newcomb and our old friend, Madison Bumgarner. That leaves us with 9 pitchers who are useful in both starts and ought to be at the top of your pickup lists if they are available. Let’s take a look at those 10 and their matchups.

Now let’s shift our attention to my full player rankings for the week.
