Welcome to the Tuesday edition of FanDuel lineup advice. Tonight’s slate features six matchups that are littered with heavy hitters. There a whopping eight players available tonight that check in at $10,000 or higher salary, meaning we’ll have to be careful where we pick and choose to pay up. As of this writing, the highest expected total of the night is 232.5 when Oklahoma City plays at Atlanta. We also have to keep an eye on the Pacers as the day progresses, as they currently have three players that could profoundly impact the slate listed as questionable game-time decisions. Let’s dive into some of the best plays of the night.

Point Guard: Russell Westbrook ($12,000)
Westbrook is the most expensive player on the slate, but he should be worth the price of admission tonight. The game features the highest expected point total of the night, and with the Thunder favored by just nine points, the game should stay competitive enough for Westbrook to see his typical 35 or so minutes. The most appealing reason to play him, however, is the matchup. The Hawks give up the most FanDuel points to point guards this season at 51.84 per game. That number is even higher over the past seven, a staggering 57.44. You’ll have to spend down elsewhere, but you need to find some a way to get Westbrook locked in tonight.

Shooting Guard: Josh Hart ($5,200)
Here’s a perfect spot to save some cash tonight. With LeBron James still sidelined Josh Hart will continue to start and see plenty of time on the court. The Lakers take on the Bulls tonight, who have been awful defending shooting guards lately, giving up the most FanDuel points to shooting guards in the entire NBA over the past seven games. He should have a stable floor tonights and is only for games removed from a 50 FanDuel point outing, so the ceiling is there as well.
Small Forward: Kelly Oubre Jr ($5,500)
Oubre has been coming on strong lately, averaging over 30 minutes and 22 real points per game over his last three outings. The return of Devin Booker tonight will hurt the value of teammates Josh Jackson and De’Anthony Melton but should be less impactful on Oubre in his typical sixth man role.
Power Forward: Richaun Holmes ($4,600)
Holmes is another cheap option off the bench for the Suns. He’s carved out a stable role in the Suns rotation and has averaged 29.35 FanDuel points per game over his last six contests, a tremendous output for his $4,600 price tag. He doesn’t have the high ceiling of some other power forwards on the slate but does have one of the most stable floors of any player in his price range.
Center: Nikola Jokic ($11,100)
I led off my lineup advice with the most expensive player on the slate tonight, and I’m going to bookend it with another high-priced player. However you look at it tonight, you’re going to want to pay up for a center. Between Karl Anthony-Towns ($11,200), Nikola Jokic ($11,100), and Joel Embid ($11,100), you could get left in the dust if you don’t pay up at the position on this slate. There’s a slight concern that Embid and Big KAT could cancel each other out tonight, so If I have to pick one, I’m going with Jokic. He’s currently averaging 7.5 assists per game, which would come in as the third best assist season all time by a center behind only Wilt Chamberlain. He should have plenty of chances to dish and score tonight when Denver takes on Golden State.
If you start your lineup tonight with these five players, you’ll have an average of $5,400 to fill in your last four spots. That should be enough funds to find some value in any of the three high-scoring matchups with totals projected above 228 points (MIN at PHI, OKC at ATL, GS at DEN). Also, make sure to keep an eye on the Pacers injury report. If Myles Turner, Darren Collison, or Corey Joseph end up sitting there could be more high value available tonight.
