We’ve got another mid-sized Tuesday night slate with 12 teams to work with. There are some big names on the slate and I’ll be recommending four of them today. Let’s get right into it.
Guards
Kyrie Irving (BOS): $8,800 @ GS
Yes, I know, Russell Westbrook and James Harden are both on the slate, and they both likely outscore Irving in “raw” points, however, Irving is a couple thousand cheaper and he has been playing well of late. In five of his last six games, Irving had at least 40 DK points, including a 64.25 game in Chicago. The Warriors actually defend the point guard position well as a team, but Steph Curry has never been confused with a great defender, Irving will put up a ton of points in this one.
Ben Simmons (PHI): $8,400 vs ORL
Simmons has been on a tear since Joel Embiid‘s injury. Over the last five games without Embiid in the lineup, Simmons is averaging a shade under 50 DK points a game (49.5) and has back-to-back triple-doubles. The only thing I’m worried about with this game is the pace, as the Magic are one of the slowest paced teams in the league.
