And for the rest of the season, we’re going to take a look at a few matchups each week along with Dr. Chao’s injury takes.

Denver Broncos vs. Buffalo Bills

As the season begins its slate of Saturday games, we start the day with a loaded matchup full of fantasy implications. The AFC East-leading Bills head to Denver to face the Broncos as the latter dealing with a slew of injuries on the defensive side. In a seven-day span, the Broncos lost three corners due to torn ACLs on top of their top two corners already out due to injury and suspension. The Broncos have been without their top two d-lineman for most of the season, and Shelby Harris is now questionable due to an elbow injury. The Denver defense is depleted going into the final weeks of the season, and the Bills’ offense must be salivating at the opportunity. Quarterback Josh Allen, and wideouts Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley should have good games. John Brown is practicing but there’s doubt he will be activated or have a big role this week. The running back situation could be harder to choose from. It may just come down to who you have on your team or the cheaper option in DFS as both should have solid games. The entire Bills’ offense is in play against the Broncos swiss cheese defense meaning this game provides the perfect matchups to win in the fantasy playoffs.

Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts

During the Texans’ Week 14 loss to the Bears, Houston lost defensive starters NT Brandon Dunn and SS Justin Reid to injured reserve. These injuries are just the tip of the iceberg as both starting corners are out due to injury and suspension while a few depth corners are LP in practice which may limit them on Sunday. The linebacking core has taken hits all year as Benardrick McKinney, Brennan Scarlett, Dylan Cole, and Duke Ejiofor are all on IR and adding the new injuries from last week leaves the Texans on their last defensive legs. It’s good news for the Colts as they have a golden opportunity to take advantage with talents like Jonathan Taylor, T.Y. Hilton, and Michael Pittman Jr. Use all with confidence as the matchup is fantasy gold.
