James Robinson signs with Giants
According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, RB James Robinson is signing a deal with the New York Giants.
Fantasy Impact
After going undrafted, Robinson excelled early on with the Jaguars before an Achilles injury slowed him down. Robinson was then traded to the Jets in 2022 and was released by the Patriots earlier in the 2023 offseason. Since his injury, Robinson’s explosion has been noticeably down, rushing for less than three yards per carry in New York after averaging 4.6 his first two seasons in Jacksonville. The Giants are in a position where they might be desperate for RB help if Saquon Barkley sits out, and Robinson can provide some production. He will be competing with veteran RB Matt Breida and rookie RB Eric Gray.

Cole Beasley signs with Giants
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, WR Cole Beasley is signing with the New York Giants.
Fantasy Impact
Beasley is reuniting with Brian Daboll, who coached the slot WR in Buffalo during his All-Pro season. The Giants’ WR room is extremely deep, particularly at the slot position, meaning Beasley might not be a lock for the roster; however, Beasley does have familiarity with the system. Among the Giants’ rostered slot WRs include Wan’Dale Robinson, Jamison Crowder, Sterling Shepard and Parris Campbell.

Melvin Gordon III agrees to deal with Ravens
Veteran free-agent running back Melvin Gordon III has agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $3.1 million with the Baltimore Ravens according to Adam Schefter.
Fantasy Impact
Gordon III joins a crowded backfield ahead of the opening of training camp next week, with J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, and Justice Hill all likely to make a case for touches. Combine that with the return of star quarterback Lamar Jackson, fantasy owners will be best served to avoid the veteran until further notice.
