Breece Hall: Saleh ‘very confident’ back will be ready Week 1
Jets’ head coach Robert Saleh stated Tuesday that he is ‘very confident’ that RB Breece Hall will be ready for Week 1.
Fantasy Impact
Hall was activated off the PUP list Tuesday and took limited reps in practice. With the recent addition of Dalvin Cook, fantasy managers should expect Hall and Cook to split carries to begin the season. Hall currently ranks as the RB16 in ECR and will likely slot in as an RB2 this season in a crowded running back room.

Kendre Miller (knee sprain) has ‘a chance’ to play Sunday
According to Jeff Nowak of Audacy Sports, rookie RB Kendre Miller (knee sprain) will travel with the New Orleans Saints to their joint practice with the LA Chargers. He’ll do his rehab there, and there is “a chance” he plays Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
This is a bit of a surprising development given that the original hopes were that he would be ready for Week 1. It seems more likely that the Saints won’t play Miller in what’s ultimately a meaningless preseason game given his injury history – offseason surgery to repair his MCL and meniscus – especially if they want to preserve his health for the incoming Alvin Kamara suspension. Overall, it’s a good sign for the health of Miller’s knee and his prospects for the season, though the worry early in his career is the risk of re-injury.

Isaiah Likely misses consecutive practices
According to Jamison Hensley of ESPN, second-year TE Isaiah Likely has missed consecutive practices with an undisclosed injury.
Fantasy Impact
Likely has not attended practice since he left the Ravens’ preseason victory early with an injury. It’s unclear what his injury is and his situation should remain monitored. Likely had a promising rookie year – 36 catches, 373 yards and three touchdowns – but he plays behind one of the league’s best TEs in Mark Andrews. Likely’s upside in fantasy is mostly as an insurance policy for Andrews as he has very little standalone value, even if the Ravens up their passing rate this season.
