Javonte Williams reportedly “could be” battling for a roster spot in training camp with Samaje Perine.

This was reported by Troy Renck of The Denver Post, who added that “Rookie Audric Estime is making the team.” Jaleel McLaughlin also appears to have his roster spot secure. Williams is looking to bounce back after struggling in his return from a knee injury last year. It would be quite a surprise if Perine makes the roster over Williams, but it’s a situation worth monitoring nonetheless.

CeeDee Lamb is reportedly being prioritized over Dak Prescott in contract talks by the Cowboys.

Rashid Shaheed signs one-year extension with the Saints
The Saints signed Rashid Shaheed to a one-year extension.

Shaheed received a tender for the 2024 season earlier this offseason. The $5.2 million he received is for the 2025 season. He’ll have the chance to step into a clear WR2 role for the Saints, giving him some late-round appeal in fantasy drafts.
