Brandon Aiyuk (knee) ‘could be ready for start of season’
Nick Wagoner of ESPN reported that Brandon Aiyuk “could be ready for the start of the season, though that’s uncertain.”
Fantasy Impact
Aiyuk is working his way back from a torn ACL and MCL suffered early last season. Either way with Deebo Samuel likely being moved, the 49ers will be in the market for a wide receiver this offseason.

Jonathon Brooks (knee) likely to miss most if not all of 2025 season
Joseph Person of the Athletic reported that Jonathon Brooks is likely to miss “most if not all of 2025.”
Fantasy Impact
Brooks re-tore his ACL towards the end of last season in December. Chuba Hubbard figures to remain in a clear lead role heading into next season after signing an extension last year. Carolina could also be in the market for a running back this offseason, but likely for depth purposes.

Kadarius Toney arrested on count of aggravated assault
Free agent WR Kadarius Toney was arrested on a count of aggravated assault by strangulation, according to a TMZ report.
Fantasy Impact
Toney has not sat steadily remained on a roster since being released by the Kansas City Chiefs in August 2024. He joined the Cleveland Browns’ roster for a stint before being waived in December. It remains to be seen whether he will face any repercussions from the league.
