Finding good starting pitchers can be a weekly struggle. I aim to solve this headache during this season by finding the best pitchers, every week, who are on the waiver wire in most leagues. I will use the FantasyPros fantasy baseball streaming pitchers tool to find league roster percentage information.

Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers
First, let’s take a look at last week’s picks:
- Richard Fitts (vs. LAA): 1.0 Innings, 0 Strikeouts, 5 Earned Runs, 4 Hits, 1 Walk (Loss)
- Lance McCullers (@PIT): 6.0 Innings, 7 Strikeouts, 0 Earned Runs, 2 Hits, 1 Walk (Win)
- Zebby Matthews (@ATH): 5.0 Innings, 4 Strikeouts, 1 Earned Run, 4 Hits, 3 Walks (Win)
Total: 12.0 Innings, 11 Strikeouts, 6 Earned Runs, 10 Hits, 5 Walks (2-1)
This article is being written a day earlier than usual, so there are fewer results from pitchers. Keep an eye out to see how well Jack Leiter and Zack Littell pitch in the coming days. Out of the three so far, we have two hits and a big miss. While Richard Fitts was anything but sharp in his start, Lance McCullers and Zebby Matthews were great. I will avoid pitchers coming back from injury this week to prevent another Richard Fitts situation.
Without further delay, below are my picks for fantasy baseball streaming pitchers during Week 12, from Monday, June 9th to Sunday, June 15th.
Monday, June 9
Brayan Bello (SP – BOS) vs. TB | 9% Rostered
Brayan Bello has had an inconsistent 2025, and he is not the best streaming option if you are risk-averse. However, signs point to Bello performing well against the Rays. In Bello’s last start, he fired 103 pitches. He is now fully stretched out and is more likely to add to the three quality starts he has on the season (out of nine outings).
In addition, Bello is looking sharper — he has walked only five batters in his last three starts (14.2 innings) compared to 19 walks in his previous 36 innings. Feel free to grab Bello as he settles in and faces the Rays, who are just about average in hitting stats.
Alternative: Luis Ortiz (SP – CLE) vs. CIN | 5% Rostered
Tuesday, June 10
Zebby Matthews (SP – MIN) vs. TEX | 6% Rostered
Zebby Matthews was featured in last week’s list and did not disappoint. The 25-year-old tossed five innings of one-run baseball, striking out four, allowing four hits and walking three. His three walks were a concern, but Matthews persevered and maintained a solid start. The flamethrower should find success against the Rangers, who have an unflattering .639 team OPS.
Alternative: Kyle Harrison (SP – SF) @COL | 3% Rostered
Wednesday, June 11
Jake Irvin (SP – WSH) @NYM | 22% Rostered
There is a decent chance Jake Irvin is taken in your league. If he is available, I like him against the Mets. Although the Mets have a good offense, I trust Irvin to have a solid performance this week. I see the righty as a high-floor, low-ceiling option. Irvin has a 3.78 ERA against the Mets across 33.1 innings in his career, matching his current 3.93 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 2025.
Irvin has had splashes of dominance this season, such as his eight-inning shutout against the Giants on May 24th. He has earned quality starts in half his outings and has only two unquestionably bad games, against the Diamondbacks and Phillies. Irvin’s career against the Mets and stats point to him being a viable streamer.
Alternative: David Festa (SP – MIN) vs. TEX | 1% Rostered
Thursday, June 12
Chris Paddack (SP – MIN) vs. TEX | 6% Rostered
Chris Paddack is on fire. His most recent start on June 1st against the Mariners featured eight innings of one-run baseball and 10 strikeouts. Paddack has a 1.64 ERA across 33 innings in his last five starts.
Paddack had two rough starts at the beginning of the year against the White Sox and Astros, but has been lights-out ever since. I love Paddack against the Rangers and their third-lowest team OPS.
Alternative: Colton Gordon (SP – HOU) vs. CWS | 0% Rostered
Friday, June 13
Charlie Morton (SP – BAL) vs. LAA | 6% Rostered
It sounds crazy to mention Charlie Morton as a fantasy-viable pitcher after his dreadful start to the season. It seems like bad luck to offer him as a streamer on Friday the 13th. Regardless, Morton has looked so much better lately. He has allowed just three earned runs across his most recent 17 innings and has reclaimed a spot in the Orioles’ rotation.
If you do not believe in jinxes, streaming Charlie Morton against the Angels does not seem like a bad idea, especially when considering their bottom-five .226 team batting average.
Alternative: Cade Horton (SP – CHC) vs. PIT | 12% Rostered
Saturday, June 14
Shane Smith (SP – CWS) @TEX | 16% Rostered
Shane Smith has found a way to improve the dreadful White Sox. Their rookie ace has a 2.45 ERA (3.59 xERA) and a 1.14 WHIP alongside a respectable 8.7 K/9 ratio. Smith most recently shone in a shutout against the Tigers on June 3rd, where he earned a win. Smith has given us no reason not to trust him as he faces the Rangers.
Alternative: Andre Pallante (SP – STL) @MIL | 6% Rostered
Sunday, June 15
Miles Mikolas (SP – STL) @MIL | 7% Rostered
I do not like many of the streaming options available for Sunday. Before schedules get shifted around, my favorite streaming option is Miles Mikolas. The Cardinals’ veteran is piecing together his best season in years.
The righty has been slightly above average, with a 3.90 ERA and 1.25 WHIP. He has allowed only six runs in his last four starts (21.1 innings). Mikolas should be a good option against the Brewers, who have a .687 OPS against righties.
Alternative: Colin Rea (SP – CHC) vs. PIT | 6% Rostered
