Drafting players at any position, whether wide receiver or something else, is always much easier when you’re drafting someone who’s known to be a consistent presence in the NFL.
Whether that means consistently high performance or just knowing what you’re getting, it makes your job of setting your lineup each week that much easier.
Below, I’ll use FantasyPros ADP and fantasy finishes dating back to 2022 to find those consistent players.
Let’s check it out.

Consistent Fantasy Football Wide Receivers
Justin Jefferson (WR – MIN) | ADP: WR2
It’s no surprise, but since 2022, Jefferson has been incredibly consistent. He missed seven games in 2023, but other than that, he’s had 15 or more PPR points in about 70% of the games he’s played in.
In 2024, he caught 103 passes for 1,533 yards and 10 touchdowns. Despite missing seven games in 2023, Jefferson still went over 1,000 yards and had five touchdowns.
He’s going to have yet another new quarterback in 2025 with J.J. McCarthy and he is also currently dealing with a hamstring injury. However, when he’s on the field, Jefferson performs, plain and simple, hence the WR2 price tag.
Davante Adams (WR – LAR) | ADP: WR16
Moving down the list a bit, I wanted to highlight Adams. He lands on a Rams team that already has Puka Nacua in place, and there are concerns surrounding quarterback Matthew Stafford and his back.
That said, Adams has dealt with all kinds of poor quarterback play since 2022.
Since 2022, Derek Carr, Jarrett Stidham, Aidan O’Connell, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Brian Hoyer have thrown passes to him. Things did improve midway through 2024 after he landed with the New York Jets and Aaron Rodgers, but overall, he’s only ever had one quarterback at the level of Stafford.
Now, he could be dealing with Garoppolo again and/or Stetson Bennett, if Stafford misses time.
That said, even if Stafford does miss time, Adams has continued to produce. Since 2022, he’s had 15 points or more in PPR formats in 21 games. He’s also finished as a WR1 all three seasons.
Now going as the WR16, Adams, while aging, has presented excellent consistency over the past three seasons.
DeVonta Smith (WR – PHI) | ADP: WR24
If you’re looking for a steady WR2, Smith has consistently been one, if not better, each season since 2022.
In 2022, Smith was the WR9, catching 95 passes for 1,196 yards and seven touchdowns.
In the following season, Smith had 81 catches for 1,066 yards and seven touchdowns.
Finally, in 2024, Smith played in just 13 games, but he caught 68 passes for 833 yards and eight touchdowns. His yards per game have dropped a bit each season from 70.4 to 66.6 to 64.1 from 2022 to now, but he’s remained productive despite the addition of fellow wide receiver A.J. Brown and a nearly record-breaking season from Saquon Barkley in 2024.
Not only that, but quarterback Jalen Hurts runs plenty, too.
Of the 13 games he appeared in in 2024, Smith had 10 points or more in 10 of them. He went for 15 or more in seven of them, including one game with 14.9.
He may not have those 30-40 point explosions, but he’s as steady as they come for a WR2, especially going right before the cutoff of WR3 in PPR leagues in 2025.
